Nigeria Smartphone Market
Nigeria smartphone market has seen a steady rise in recent years that coincides with previous studies that project a continuous uptick in the level of growth within the country. Government policies along with the current pandemic (Covid-19) complications could change the situation on the ground.
A recent study by the International Data Corporation or IDC compared the smartphone markets in Nigeria and Ghana and showed that the Nigerian mobile phone market grew by 5.3% quarter over quarter in Q4 of 2019. The study also revealed that when looking at Ghana, a 6.1% increase in Q4 of 2019 was achieved in the domestic market.
